Best Imaginary Vacation Ever!

Still on the elementary writing level, this one's supposed to inspire creativity. Looking back on my recent writing, I see that I have a hard time leaving reality; everything is so grounded! I'm not sure if this broke from that at all, but I was trying to just say whatever came to mind, no matter the sillification. Still ended up a bit lame though but hey, i'm working on it.

So, the exercise is best imaginary vacation ever! I'm rob, and this is my vacation:

Ah, vacation! It's been a long time coming, so i gather up all my things and throw them in my dimensional tardis-gloves. they've like gloves, but really we just call them hands; anything we want to keep we simply hold on to and then tip our palms face-down and >bloop!< they get categorized in the interdimensional vault of all things good. Don't worry, they're not really gone! We wish them back through slight-of-hand. Actually, they're really stored at lal, it's simply all stored in the dimensionality of possibility, they're more created each time than actually retrieved.

The ship pulls out into the cosmos, it's Voyager, so it really has no limitations or limitations that a little creative deus-ex'ness can't solve. We'll die, we'll live, we'll slip in and out of interactive reality with the world, and it'll all work out in the end so that we barely even notice when the next destination is plotted and realized.

Hey Ginger, come with me to Astrometrics, I'll show you where we're going and plot out a star chart in 3-dimensional real-time. Don't worry, it'll all make sense when we get there and we can change course at any time, for any time. Oh, alright, we'll stop at the sand dunes first, but do you mind if it's not really the sand dunes, and it's a plasmatic charge of sentient dust? Yeah okay, so it's really sand, and it's not in a dune, but it's cool cause we can run away together all the same. Nothing here but me, you, and the moon that we packed with us.

Yeah, the stars all seem a bit far away, but it's all good, you seen one star you've seen'em all. Here, let's step behind the cushion of this couch and check out the space where the fabric meets the wood. What do you think we'll find?

Hey Ginger, close the zipper, I think i heard something. Creatures are right over there, are htey having a party? let's check it out!

Don't mind the dust-mites, they're really not so bad after you get used to them, but they can't hold their liquor very well. Where's Ayla? Grab her and we'll cuddle in the down pillow over on the left. No, of course she wants to be a cuddle-cat, don't be silly! Here's some easy-cheese, yeah she's yours now, and you're mine :) I love how the walls are see through, the stars passing us by, the trees glowing in the distance, beautiful songs on the horizon. It's our song, the sound of us being together. The most beautiful melody in the universe, anywhere that we're together the room sings with us in perfect harmony.

Isn't it great? No laundry, no modems or DFTs, just us and our cuddle cats. Have you seen Fred? Where'd that fish get to?

Oh, i see him! Swim over here with me, let's see who he's talking to.

Hmm, a galactic souvenir shop, oh okay, i normally hate shopping but with you anything's fun; let's go check it out.

Dude! They got Symphony hero, for Wii! Here, grab that bass guitar, i'm gonna try out the symbols. Ayla! Grab the drums and scrapps can have the banjo; Fred's on trombone. Silly fish, air-trombone is for losers!

Wait, do you see that? Eeach note seems to have an effect on the world around, i think i can almost...got it! Check this out, each note i play can...there! Perfect, an image painted of all of us together; wow, Fry was right, this is pretty hard.

A thousand sunsets of a thousand sunsets, all illuminating our faces. Grab those horse-shoes! I love horse shoes, i can't believ eyou got me into that. Who thought they'd be here? Everywhere and nowhere, i wouldn't have guessed that the universal game of the fabric of time is horse shoes. Go players will be pissed.

Been so fun, babe, i had a marvelous time with you. I heard there's a farewell party going on before we all have to get back. Computer! Holodeck 3. Voyager is so cool.

Can I grab you a drink? Whoa, did you see that? Every word creates a beautiful pattern. The most delicious cake! I had a dream once, and I thought it wast hte most deliciou scake in the world, but this! Mmmm, here, have a bite of mine. Haha, got'your nose. Hey, we didn't do it at the wedding, which means your nose is a an open target for cake for the rest of our lives. Nope, that's the deal! SHould have gotten it over with when you had the chance ;-)

Let's go back to our room, babe, i'm sick of wearing these clothes. Yeah, a vacation to remember, and I wouldn't have wanted to spend it with anyone else.

The End.
